Â
Don’t Be RIGHT, Be HAPPY
Â
Everything that’s messing up your life can be summed up into a single word: Resistance.
Â
Resistance is more commonly known as fear. Resistance is just what we tend to do with whatever it is that we fear.
Â
If you’re in a relationship and you need to let go and move on, here’s what will mess you up:
Â
You insist on SAVING the marriage - to be made right that you should stay, you have to resist ALL of the truths that it’s NOT working.
Â
Or
Â
You insist on LEAVING the marriage - to made be right that you should “get the hell out of there“, you have to resist ALL of the moments where you can see it could work, it could maybe turn around.
Â
Want to know something interesting?
Â
Both of those positions are identical. Two sides of the same coin and the coin is named Resistance.
Â
If you want to Let Go and Move On from something, you CANNOT be in resistance to it, one way or the other. For OR against.
Â
If you’re for it, and you’re in resistance, you refuse to see what you actually see. If you’re against it, and you’re in resistance, you refuse to see what you actually see.
Â
Same thing.
Â
Leaving or staying in those situations is a fear-based decision that must fail.
Â
You are looking to become neutral so you can SEE what you actually saw, without resisting that truth.
Â
Once you feel emotionally steady and can look at the situation, and see that it is not workable and it is not turning, then you can leave.
Â
The reason moving on is so hard is because half the time we’re running away from something (which follows us) OR we’re saying we want to leave (but we’re actually still trying to stay).
Â
When you get yourself clear and into a neutral place, where you can see what’s happening the SAME way someone not “married to the situation“ can see what’s happening - then, if you need to move on, you CAN.
Â
Before you try to leave a situation, make sure that you’re done trying to make yourself right and you’re SEEING what you actually see.
Â
In that energy, you will find doors open to you as you go to Move On. You’ll often find leaving feels easy, once this inner work is done.
