The cortisol shoots up in your body. You have anxiety. You don't sleep as well. Your adrenals are shot. Your libido goes down. Your immune system takes a hit at the worst possible time for your immune system to be
weakened!
These are all symptoms of living in a state of constant pressure and fear.
The surest antidote to fear is choice and control.

To help soothe yourself and improve the world right now, you need to find a problem that you can SOLVE!
Many of you have made encouraging public posts, signed petitions, or sent donations toward the war effort. But you still have that feeling of helplessness.
Find a problem that you can totally solve - that needs solving.
So to be clear, it doesn't include things like diabetes, teenage pregnancy, or drunk driving. No one person solutions for those!
It includes: getting someone to your parents' home to fix their technology issues, reaching out to repair a ruptured relationship, or finally posting that negative online review you've been holding off on, so you protect others from a bad
experience.
If it's something that has been lingering in your world, needs to be "fixed "and you can make a choice and then control the fixing of it - do that this week.
Warning: the fixing can't include changing anybody else's minds or making somebody feel differently than they do!
So get that plumber out to your house. Trim your neighbor’s tree branches on your “side” of the fence instead of grumbling in your head.
The more you've been bothered by or complaining
about whatever it is you set out to fix…the better!
How you feel matters to the whole world.
And right now, most of the world is angry and afraid. Do not be tempted to try to help someone else before you help yourself feel better. (It doesn’t work well and breeds resentment.)
Surrender your guilt over fixing a non-life or death problem in your life. If you’ve done the 3 Steps, you are feeling better and now ready to find a more direct way to help the War.
