It is far better you write a true love letter full of desires not acted on, promises not kept and chances missed THAN sweet words spoken to your beloved, WHILE you are being unfaithful.
One of the biggest components of Love, is Trust.
So do not write this to make yourself look good or sound good.
Use
the love letter to confess the truth of the conflict between how you WANT to feel and how you WERE acting, only if you really mean it.
This would’ve been my love letter to money years ago.
Back when I was earning several hundred thousand dollars a year in
my own law firm… but I STILL struggled with money. I attracted victims who didn’t want to pay because as an Alpha my “rescue instinct” was set too
high.
My Dearest Money,
I miss you. You come to visit but you never seem to stay. I’m
racking my brain to do better, to change something so that you want to be with me ALL the time.
I should be able to trust that you just want me. Love me. But I don’t.
I think I need to do something to earn your attention, to deserve your trust and justify your time.
It’s almost like I have been a better lover to “Struggle than I have ever been to you. Because with Struggle? I am faithful.
You come into my life and immediately I get frightened that you will leave. Why? Because that’s the way it’s ALWAYS been. That’s what I learned by watching you as I grew up.
You don’t LOVE me enough yet to stay.
:-(
Just when things are getting really good, something happens and off you go. Leaving me surprised, heartbroken and responsible alone… Again.
I can
finally see that I have NOT been loving you as much as chasing you and ignoring you. Yuck. Who wants that?
And I have not treated you well when you WERE here because I certainly never trusted you.
Even though I don’t know fully how to turn all these things around yet, I’m willing to try and create an entirely new relationship with you, because you matter to me.
Would you please forgive me for taking you
for granted, misunderstanding your needs and not showing up for you consistently?
I’m going to learn from the others you love soo gracefully.
I am ready to do better and really be here for YOU, before I expect YOU to commit to me.
Love,
Younger Tanya Early in My Legal
Career

For those of you who have a great relationship with money (and you know this because money comes easily to you, stays and you recognize it as a neutral tool that reflects how you serve), this would be my today letter to model:
Money,
Hi sweetheart! Love you. I was just sitting here thinking about our past together.
How things were crazy and rocky at the start. I was soo inconsistent with you! And still you showed up for me.
I wasn’t faithful. And I acted from fear sooo many more times than love and trust, and still you showed up for me!
Do you know what I love most about you? It’s how you’ve changed ME. Learning to love you properly and keep you in my life changed ME.
I no longer need to cage you to feel safe. I don’t question where you are every second. I’m soo much easier around you.
I let you flow. I let you be. Real love is allowing the true nature of the beloved. And I’m never worried when you’re going out, that
you won’t come back to me.
I have become a better lover because I know that you NEED my joy and creativity and trust and desire to EXPAND more than you ever needed me to “struggle” or “work really hard.”
You love being with me and you bring all your friends over too because we have fun! Because you feel safe and trusted to be yourself.
You get to do BIG things with me, things others are scared to let you do. They haven’t always worked but Oh! We have THE BEST stories ever!
You are the purest reflection to how well I am showing up and serving in the world. And we are going way BIGGER!
I love your big energy and I love what you represent and I love where we are going together.
I adore the ease you make possible and the experiences you facilitate. You are never gone long enough
for me to miss you anymore.
I love that I now get to play with people who view you as unlimited. And “Unlimited” looks good on you by the way!
Come over as soon as you can, I’ll be ready for you. We will stay up late giggling over what we want to do together…NEXT.
You have the key, come on in, no need to knock.
See you soon!
All my love & joy,
Tanya Dyer, Esq.
Get writing Alphas! Truthful writing.
If you have a super bad relationship with whatever you are writing to, like Money, you might need to write a couple
letters.
You might need to start off doing a lot of repair work (truthful ownership with apologies) before you can even get to the “first” love letter.
