I love my maps! My dad was a truck driver and he taught me to read a map when I was a child. For the longest time, one of my favorite possessions was my battered old road atlas.
I’ll never forget in high school, one Christmas, my parents gave me a brand new, expanded road atlas. I geeked out.
I am the consummate navigator and copilot for road trips. I watch the gas tank, alert you to cops. I can give you the mileage and estimated time of arrival not only at the destination but all important stops along the way. I locate food and I will watch the weather. And listen to YOUR music.
Because…that’s soo Alpha.
And when Alphas come to me, and want help, full service navigation is what they
want!
They want a map that’s written so clearly that they can measure it down to the inch, while they’re driving, and accurately predict their time of arrival at the next exit.
They want reassuring landmarks that are constantly telling them…
You are going the right way!
Nope. That is NOT how a Divine Roadmap works.
Missions have magic remember?
If it WAS a map, it would resemble something from Harry Potter.
If you know the books or the movies, there’s a map that only shows you the area right around where you’re standing.
You can’t see stuff that’s not near where you are,
until AFTER you move over there.
So now you have a good idea of your Purpose
and you want to unlock your Mission.
That requires three skillsets:
- Clear Channels to receive directions
- Deep trust to accept the directions and
- A combo of courage, discipline and enthusiasm to act on the directions.
See what I mean? Simple but not easy.
First, you unlock your Mission by completing the life lessons around #1:
your ability to hear and see guidance sent to you with clarity.
God or the Universe needs to show you the Way. Well… how does it talk to you? How will you hear your inner voice,
intuition or Divine Guidance?
You have to get good at whatever channels you use to receive guidance. Otherwise, Source is transmitting, like radio stations transmit 24 hours a day, but you don’t have your radio on and volume up so you can’t hear it.
Second, you must become amazing at trust. I’ll be honest ladies. This is pretty much the hill that most Alphas die on.
Remember, your core wound is abandonment. Your family of origin breached trust with you in a very young age. Alphas don’t trust.
Not trusting is the reason we develop our Alpha-ness as a defense mechanism. It protects us from even more disappointments & betrayal.
And remember, the Law is As Within, So Without. So you
have to learn to trust yourself, your emotions and feelings (yeah that stuff you suppress!) first, before you can experience trust for other people or even with your Source.
Why do you need super powered trust? Because when you get the message, remember it’s
not a complete Blueprint. It’s just the very next step. It may make very little sense and may be very scary.
If you don’t have a reliable system for “validating” the guidance you’re given and the ability to trust it implicitly, you don’t get your Mission.
Now here is where your bad ass comes in! (Finally, right?)
Lastly, you display a combo of courage, discipline and enthusiasm to execute whatever guidance you’ve been given.
Alphas have a lot of courage for others but tend to have less courage for
ourselves. You’ll have to grow through that challenge.
Discipline is needed because not everything that you’ll be given to do is an overnight thing! You might have to chip away at a “mountain” for years. That takes discipline to stick to it, especially when there’s not an
immediate and visible result.
Enthusiasm. Enthusiasm! I never tire of telling everyone that the word enthusiasm comes from two words: en and theos. It literally means to be in God. Some translate it has to be on fire for God.
You gotta have some FIRE in you, that you are willing to wield to accomplish your Purpose, by means of your Mission.
You want to accelerate allowing your life lessons to generate your skill sets to: hear guidance, trust guidance, and execute guidance.
Get on it
Alphas!
