Harbor isn’t a word that’s used commonly much these days. I think I first became familiar with it like you, on the TV news, when they were searching for someone accused of “harboring a fugitive.”
When you think of honor you probably think I’m crazy.
Honor is about really good things.“Tanya, I do not HONOR my
fears!”
Ahh. But if they are still there, in your head, where they've
lived for years,
if not decades - you are HARBORING FUGITIVES!
Under most criminal systems, the people who harbor a known fugitive and agent of evil, are subject to the same punishments as the criminals themselves.
Uh oh.
Decide today to view anything you KEEP as proof you HONOR
IT.
Why do I still have a pillow, made from my college racquetball team sweatpants, hand sewn by my niece? Because I HONOR IT.
It has had safe harbor with me for decades, because I honor it.
When it comes to your Purpose or Mission in life,
ask what you are afraid of?
Then do something unusual.
Look into WHY you have harbored that fear over time?
Ask yourself, why am I honoring it, by
harboring it in my thoughts, month after month, year after year, decade after decade?
Whatever that fear is, it becomes the ceiling on what you can do and be. And if you don’t do anything about releasing that fear, you’re honoring that limitation.
Want an example?
Many many Alphas are afraid that they are “late“ for their dream.
That they are too far behind on whatever it is they were born to do.
Stop honoring that fear. Stop repeating
it. Stop believing it. Stop focusing on it. Stop using it as an excuse, out loud and in your head, for why some thing won’t work for you.
I’ve taught this before:
Doubt your doubt!
Stop Harboring the fugitive of FEAR and
your Mission will step towards you, instead of YOU chasing it.
