It is a Universal Law, that what you resist persists.
Or, where your focus goes, grows.
This actually causes the perverse side effect that when people become overly focused with something they “hate“ they empower it.
The more you talk about, rail against, fight against, and
pay attention to and look for evidence of something you do not like, the more energy you give it and the more it seems to follow you everywhere.
I am challenging you to look at some of the causes around you and see if you can detect their strife
energy. The combat mentality. The smell of anger. The pushing from hatred. The ongoing and constantly fueled fear.
I hate to be the person to say it out loud, but none of those things will work, or at least work as well as their proponents want them to, because
nothing motivated by fear is allowed to succeed in the long run.
When you start to look around, it’s creepy, but you’ll notice that several big movements seem to be focusing more on “crushing" opposing views rather than presenting or uplifting their
own.
And remember,
doing the extra is about doing
something from joy...to GIVE JOY!
So this week I’m encouraging you to see if you can do something extra that’s "global" (meaning of benefit to a much larger circle of people than the one you know and inhabit).
I can tell you a generic organization that leaps to mind that is probably pretty clean energetically are your local pet rescues.
They rescue out of love for animals. They try to get those animals homes out of love for animals. They try to collect funds to get treatment and care out of love for the animals. All love!
Maybe it’s a big
ask, but maybe you could go down to a shelter and spend some time socializing a kitten or walking some of the dogs IF that lights you up. Or just drop off a box of donuts for the staff.
Grab gloves and trash bag and a child and pick up litter at a playground
or park for 15 mins.
Pull out some DVD’s and donate them to a nursing home.
God popped an awesome idea for service into my head this morning and I realize that it will fit with my Extra.

Fiverr started as a platform where you could get people to do things, “gigs“, for five dollars! Times change and many other things are more $15-$50 now but there’s a whole world of services you can get done on there: graphics, logos, blog content (not mine! Lol),
photoshopping.
I went on there and purchased the work of a very highly rated Fiverr guy, and he gave me marvelous service. He literally has crazy feedback, something like 10,000+ perfect feedbacks.
I realized I’m going to contact him and offer to gift him a business coaching session, to help him expand his business, if he wants it. Just as my Extra.
In a world that is spinning precariously, it lifted my soul to find someone kind, skilled, and honest who consistently works hard and delivered their service early.
That needs
rewarding!
Because he helps people all over the world, I figure that definitely makes me doing the extra for him global.
I got my start teaching marketing & business coaching and it’s been forever since I did a pure business coaching session, not for one of my Alphas.
This is a good man and
I’m excited to do something generous for a good man. Cannot wait to see how I can serve him! And trusting he’ll receive my gift.
Easy thing to check: The very idea of doing whatever you plan to do for your extra, should
immediately lift you up and make you feel good inside.
I feel like Santa Claus over here! I think I’m going to screenshot the blog once it sends out and then send him the image so he knows that I spoke about him with joy to my entire tribe.
