you need to shift your focus from staying āabandonedā at sea, to looking forward to setting foot on your beach.

Iām inviting you to choose to make the word ResilientĀ
YOUR word this week.
And make sure you look for ways to use itĀ
beyond the traditional āwork or corporate successā adjective.
Can you find ways to be Resilient around your teenagers demands?
Can you spot your Resilience in food preparation,
grocery shop or menu planning?
Can you claim the title of Resilience around your workout habits?
You can absolutely and definitely apply Resilience to stepping OUT of struggle in your relationships.
And heck yeah, when you power through that thing at work or donāt kill that employee (whose behavior cries entitlement so loud, you cover your ears)ā¦call it what it is! Youā¦displaying your Resilience!
Competent is another success word that is also used more for men.Ā
Personally, Iām more likely to be called Resilient than competent.Ā
No matter how I look at it, my brain has the habit of sticking the word āmerelyā in front of competent.
