Â
We arenât doing this because itâs a holiday. We arenât doing this because itâs a special time of year. We arenât doing it to manifest anything or shift anything.
Â
The energy and feeling of gratitude is synonymousÂ
with that of love and Divine Love.
Â
Itâs a good idea to plug yourself back into that feeling from time to time and practice not letting âthingsâ bump you off course.
Â
So on your day of gratitude, if someone cuts you off in traffic, you send them on their way with a blessing cause they are in a hurry and they canât drive so they clearly need a blessing!
Â
If the grocery
store is out of your brand and you have to buy a lesser brand, then you smile and say OK I get to try out the less expensive brand now.
Â
Most important, as many times as you can,Â
stop yourself and have a momentary pauseÂ
and feel thankful for what you DO have.
Â
I have
torn both my Achilles tendons, so Iâve been in a wheelchair before. There is nothing like being in a wheelchair to make you grateful for the ability to walk for the rest of your life.
Â
I am living in Bali right now. My villa has a staff of two housekeepers. I love them! The head Housekeeper is,
of course, an Alpha and I am teaching them little things.
Â
Both ladies started their period at the same time (you know how we cycle together when we are in close groups). It may even pull another period out of me!
Â
Period care is not advanced in Third World countries. No Advil. No Midol. No Aleve. Not overly impressed with their pad quality either (wings and moisture wicking material are not optional people!).
Â
I asked what she was
going to take to help her and she said there was some sour womenâs tea with curcumin (tumeric) in it. That is actually a good anti-inflammatory and I take it daily.
Â
And thatâs ALL she has.
Â
When was the last time you were grateful that any of you can afford to walk into your indoor bathroom and grab a couple of Advil, instead of drink an herbal tea for pain?
Â
Incidentally, I am not a fan of taking drugs.
But when I need it, I have it.
Â
My shower recently ran out of hot water here, and I thought something was broken. Problem? The propane tank that heats water for my shower was empty.
Â
Most people here do not have heated water. (Happily, itâs so warm here, even unheated water is okay.) I now think to be grateful for mine.Â
Â
Also, nowhere in Bali is it safe to drink the tap water. We all buy WATER.
Â
Take a moment to decide tomorrow is a Day of Gratitude.
Â
Let go for a moment of all those big dreams you have Alpha,Â
and pay attention to all the GOOD you have right here, right now.
Â
Even if itâs as simple as you can drink your tap water, grab a hot shower, and take an Advil if your cramps get too bad.

Joy,Â
