How to Close Your Year Right:
Worried About Your Wealth?
To review your wealth, I’m going to invite you to look at wealth on several different levels. It's more than just "money."
-Wealth is how you feel about money
-Wealth is how you feel about choices and
-Wealth is your actual buying ability
How Do You Feel About Money At the Close of This Year?
This will be greatly influenced by what you “saw” money “doing” in the world and what you did with your money.
Many people have conscious (or subconscious) resistant views about money.
Here’s ALL you need to know about this: If you hate (demean, judge, feel suspicious of) rich people, YOU will never be rich.
Your subconscious will not let you “become“ what you hate.
Figure out those old-fashioned, negative beliefs your family gave you and update them.
How Free Did You Feel About Your Choices This Year?
One of the most important things that wealth buys is “choice."
Look back over this admittedly challenging year. I’m betting almost EVERYONE felt less wealthy because our choices were reduced without our agreement.
Imagine whatever you consider a wealthy person to be.
At the heart of their wealth, they have a great deal more choice each day than a person who is poor.
One powerful thing about this realization is that you CAN make yourself feel wealthier without actually earning more money!
Anytime you expand your choices, you will feel wealthier.
You can look around and find ways to expand the amount of choice you have surrounding what you do with your time, with your love, with your purpose and with your money.
In fact, my definition of wealth is: Unlimited Choice without Time Pressure.
I can pick whatever I want and always get what I really want AND there’s no rush for me to pick it.
How Do You Feel About The Amount of Money You Had In Play This Year?
I use the term in play purposefully. Money should always be “in play” or flowing.
Money is much like water; if you dam water up and make it stagnant, it literally goes bad and attracts things you do not like.
Maybe you felt you didn’t have enough money to keep it in play, moving out to others and back to you.
That’s okay. All we are doing is noticing what is true, so we can choose to do something different next year. :-)

P.S. Money and relationships are very closely connected! If you have good money and bad relationships, I promise fixing that will
make you richer.
