Knowing vs. Believing & Big Dreams
How are you doing on the Deep Questions this month? Are you taking the time to answer and sit with it, if it's sticky?
Or are you just skimming it and moving on to the next item on your "To Do For OTHER People List"?
If the questions are triggering you, ask yourself what are you hiding from? Why is the possibility of the truth or "not looking good" so uncomfortable to you.
What do you know is true
but don't act on it (believe)?
Knowing. Believing.
My definition: You know with your head and you Believe with your heart. What you TRULY BELIEVE IMPELS YOU TO ACT.
So the deep question is "What do you KNOW intellectually that your heart REFUSES to buy into (BELIEVE), so you never take action about it?"
This is a gap ladies. A dangerous gap.
If you are overweight you KNOW with your head that being heavy shortens your life and sets you up for all manner of difficulties...BUT you don't really BELIEVE being heavy is problem.
How do I know that? If you BELIEVED the extra weight was a real problem, you'd naturally feel moved to handle it. AND the handling would not be such a struggle. So resisted.
To do what you BELIEVE does not feel like swimming upstream even if it's technically hard.
Figure out what you KNOW but don't yet BELIEVE, because it's a hidden sabotage point for you.
How much time do you have to dream each week?
Short sharp and shiny. Big dreams need TIME to incubate.
I want you to look back at just your last 2 weeks. How much time did you have to: sit still, blank journal on lap, good incense burning, tea in hand...
Without:
- Wondering what you need to take out for dinner
- A child asking you THEIR important questions
- A husband needing to find something
- A client needing you to FIX something
- Feeling guilty you were sitting the F still
Yep. That's about what I thought. There's an old American slang word that describes it well...Bupkis. Almost nothing.
Baby, big dreams don't come in ONE full, explained piece. (In fact, intuition NEVER explains itself!) If you aren't making regular time to dream, you can never receive all the pieces for a BIG DREAM.
Big Dreams Arrive in Mental INSTALLMENTS ❤️
P.S. Biblical: Without the vision, the people perish.
Spiritual: You have to BELIEVE it to CONCEIVE it.
If you want way more than you have, make room for the first step in the process, imagining what could be that is not already.
