Stop Delaying Better Health Choices
Please stop it. Step into your Discomfort.
It's more comfortable for me to continue to eat the amazing chocolate bars that my husband brings me. But, I'm going to step into my Discomfort. I will step away from sugar for awhile to shed some extra pounds that I've added.
When it comes to health you have 2 competing Discomforts.
The "Don't Want to Change" Discomfort (i.e., Doing the "New" Thing) vs. The "Don't Like What Is" Discomfort (i.e., Watching Your Health Slip Away).
Once the balance tips and you are bothered MORE by what you see, you'll overcome the "Don't Want to Change" feeling.
I am right now more uncomfortable seeing pictures of my face looking rounder than I like vs. the pain of skipping evening desserts.
My "Don't Like What Is" Discomfort is motivating me.
My "Don't Want to Change" Discomfort will show me just HOW Committed I am to my health. I have to overcome that inertia.
