Surrender? A Word of Power?

Oh yes. OH YES.

Only the truly powerful, who are unafraid of harm, can fully surrender to life, their God or their mate.

Let’s Dive In…

The 4 Words of Power Series: I Surrender.

SURRENDER: Only the truly powerful can surrender control

First, I know that the word surrender triggers you. The word surrender always triggers Alphas.

It’s because you’ve learned the world’s definition of surrender, which associates Surrender with cowardice, weakness and failure.

But only the truly powerful can fully surrender control. Why?

Because they are not acting from fear but LOVE.

When you ask from fear, you will always need to control the outcome. Because you are afraid if you don’t “do something", things won’t work out the way YOU need them to.

Surrender is the active version of the power word from last week, Trust.

MY SURRENDER: Accepting Our Family's Loss 💔

This past Sunday, my mother-in-law, a woman who I called Mom, who was my closest friend here in Australia, passed away after a short battle with cancer.

I am peaceful.
I am grateful.
I miss her but I am not grieving.

Why not?

Because I surrendered to the situation.

I came into and chose total acceptance of exactly what was happening, when it happened and how it happened.

Grief and pain come from your resistance to the truth of a situation.

You think “it should NOT be this way, it should be some other way.” RESISTANCE.

Resistance is the opposite of Trust.

When you deeply trust you can surrender.

You don’t need to control the outcome.

I am feeling really good right now because I’m not resisting anything.

My Surrender only leaves me with loving feelings and good memories hence, I feel good.

I helped my Stepmother Surrender when her mother passed.

We were easy. I literally had to hide her from other people who NEEDED to see her broken, weeping and incapable of functioning (like them).

When you do a good job loving somebody in the present, it is easier to surrender if they leave. You don’t have the remorse & regrets that turn into guilt and painful grief.

What is it that you need to surrender to right now?

What truth are you presently resisting because “it should not be this way“, yet… It is.

Is your health poor? Can you surrender to the truth that you’ve not been a good steward of your health?

Are you still struggling with money? Can you surrender to the truth that you’ve not been a good steward of your wealth?

Is your marriage in trouble or failed? Can you surrender to the truth that you have RESISTED your lessons around love?

Let it go Angel.

There is great POWER and peace in Surrendering to what IS (especially before you demand to it change!)
